Description
Named after the company's founder, the Enzo Ferrari is a 12 cylinder mid-engine berlinetta supercar capable of reaching 100mph in 6.6 seconds.
Announced at the 2002 Paris Motor Show, the Enzo was designed by Pininfarina head of design, Ken Okuyama. As is custom with newly unveiled models, the company sent invitations to existing customers, specifically those who had previously bought the F40 and F50. All 399 cars were sold in this manner prior to production. In 2004 the 400th and final production car was built and donated to the Vatican for a charity auction. It commanded $1.1 million.
