As Porsche's first production model, the 356 shares many of the same design notes Dr. Porsche first used on the Volkswagen Beetle. With over 77,000 units produced between 1948 and 1965, the 356 established itself as a light and responsive sports car capable of defeating bigger, more powerful cars on racetracks worldwide.
